The Timberland FCU Debit MasterCard is your passport to a world of conveniences. Our debit cards allow Members with Share Draft Checking accounts to make cash withdrawals, transfers and deposits at STAR/CIRRUS Network ATMs worldwide, plus debit directly from your Share Draft Checking (“point of sale” purchases) wherever STAR or MasterCard is accepted.
Your debit card is not the same as a credit card. All point of sale (POS) transactions will be taken directly from your account. The card fits perfectly into any budget, with no annual fee and no application fee, plus it will help you avoid those dreaded surcharges. With Timberland FCUs Debit MasterCard, you can access over 500 Surcharge-Free ATMs throughout the country.
*Accounts may be charged the standard Overdraft fee of $28 for handling each overdraft created by check, ACH, in-person withdrawal, or other electronic item that is paid and/or for items returned. Point-of-Sale and ATM withdrawals will be declined unless the member has opted into having Overdraft Privilege cover those transactions in which case a $28 overdraft fee will be assessed if the transaction takes the balance into the negative. An overdrawn balance must be repaid within 30 days. We may not pay items under your overdraft privilege if you exceed the limit of $300, if you do not maintain your account in good standing by bringing your account balance to a positive balance within every thirty (30) day period for a minimum period of 24 hours, if you are default on any loan or other obligation to Timberland Federal Credit Union or if your account is subject to any legal or administrative order or levy.
